Originally, I had only shown this video to a select few when I was showing friends the demo version of this song. I've recently decided that this tribute video to Jimi has just as much magic to as the video of us in the studio recording the released version of "Little Dream." The story of "Little Dream": I had a dream with Jimi Hendrix. I don't remember much but I remember us talking in a Green Room or a backstage environment. When I woke up, I had this song in my head. I wrote it down immediately (the opening shot of the Official music video). It was completely not the typical style of music that I compose. I even went through Jimi's entire catalogue to make sure I didn't hear his song the previous day, dream about it, and then have this experience. In my opinion, this song was handed to me. Quick background on this song: I had a dream with Jimi Hendrix (my recollection of our interaction was only a few minutes of the end of the dream). Just a casual hangout, BUT I woke up with a melody on my head. I immediately got up and wrote the melody down on paper (the opening shot of the video). The concept of the song was to paint a picture of what best describes my first DMT experience. The visuals in this video are the best I could do to recreate what I remember. Some of it is very similar, some of the video sets metaphors for loops, time dilation, and being thrown around like a ragdoll. The Recreation of the woman's voice took a lot of work, but still isn't exact. The Visuals and Audio of THAT world will NEVER be fully recreated here. It's just the closest I could get to bringing that voice into this world... BUT SHE WAS THERE WITH ME THE WHOLE TIME! If you're reading this, and you've done DMT, you know how hard it is to describe.
